The distraction

Since I've been very sick at home for a few months, I've had to find things to make me laugh and cheer me up...
  • Reef surfer Paul Fisher has the funniest videos and blog on followthefish.tv..he is mental.

The memory

Just booked my flight to Bali for June and decided to look through my last Indo trip albums to get a little more excited, if that's even possible.

Missing the g-land crew alot, cannot wait to get back there come september x

The Coming Cold

Although the summer sun in Victoria can scorch for days, when winter arrives, it is hard to believe you could possibly be living in a country renowned for its heat. But as the degrees drop and the doonas come back out, its time to once again face facts and get prepared to rug up...Yet, some comfort exists in knowing that despite the freezing cold that will set in June, the beach is still beautiful and can still be enjoyed with the help of some cozy jackets. I always find myself dreading the grey and black and dreariness that often comes with winter fashion. So I try and inject the colour and flare of a summer outfit into my winter combos-but making them a lot, lot warmer...

Anyway, how can we stay curled up inside in trackies when the best surf of the year is on the horizon? Some great winter outfit inspiration is definitely called for.

The colours in this top are striking, yet it would be hard to pull off in the middle of a blustery, 10 degrees day... So I think I might try to emulate this look in  a wintery way

Kate Bosworth always looks effortlessly stylish. I love these kind of looks for autumn, something nice and simple, especially when heading down the coast (minus the $3000 bag)

...The boots are perfect as well

The Ocean

Living by the ocean...

...means my life on land has always revolved around the
water...

...I wouldn't have it any other way
